Meet The Team
The FUSE Ladership Team: Liz, Carla Jillian, Julio, Dan
Jillian- Administrative Director and Evangelism Coordinator
Jillian is a native Long Islander who grew up in St. James. A graduate of Marist College, she is now a certified teacher and is completing her Masters at Stony Brook University. At her home church of Church on the Sound, she leads the young adult group and helps with a teenage girl’s group called True ID.
Jillian is the Administrative Director and the main contact person for FUSE. She organizes and coordinates all of the different aspects of FUSE so they all can work together harmoniously. She loves to share FUSE’s story and vision with others and connect with individuals and groups.
With a heart for evangelism, another of Jillian’s roles is the Evangelism Coordinator. She plans and organizes FUSE’s outreaches and testimonies and is always on the lookout for evangelistic opportunities for FUSE to get involved in.

Dan- Director of Media and Webmaster
Dan was born on January 28th 1982 and grew up in Hauppauge NY. He has been attending Grace Church in Smithtown since the age of eight. After graduationg from Hauppauge High School in 2000, Dan attended CW Post University, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.
In 2007 Dan re-committed his life to Christ and God has been using Dan’s talents ever since. Besides art, Dan has a passion for music and plays guitar, drums and piano. He currently leads worship at his church and maintains many of the graphic design and advertising projects for both his church and FUSE.

Liz- Director of Finances and Service Coordinator
Liz grew up and currently resides in St. James, Long Island. She graduated from Marist College with a degree in Elementary Education and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Literacy from C.W. Post. Along with being a teacher, she is also a tap and ballet instructor for a local dance studio.
With a desire to serve others, Liz is the Service Coordinator and in charge of the service projects for FUSE. She plans and coordinates the monthly service projects as well as special events such as volunteering at soup kitchens and visiting the elderly. Liz also acts as FUSE’s Financial Director. Being in charge of the finances, she ensures that all monetary transactions are completed accurately and with integrity.

Julio- Public Relations Manager
Julio moved to Suffolk County from the “Concrete Jungle” of Brooklyn in 2006. He graduated from Polytechnic University with a degree in Civil Engineering and currently works in the field.
Julio attends Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle where he participates in young adult events and development classes such as “The Truth Project”. He is also involved in a men’s group dedicated towards developing male relationships based on encouragement, accountability and spiritual sharpening of one another.
Julio serves within FUSE as Public Relations Manager. In that capacity he works with volunteers to advertise the FUSE mission and events to the young adult community, he initiates relationships with churches in hopes to have them provide support for the FUSE mission and / or a locale for future FUSE events. He also works with volunteers to foster community and fellowship by promoting the young adult events of other churches through the use of a Unity Calendar.

Carla- Site Coordinator
Carla Dyck originally hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and moved to Suffolk County, Long Island in 2002. Since then, she has acquired her Bachelor’s Degree from New York University, and is currently a high school English teacher. She has worked with both the youth and young adult ministries at Church on the Sound in Stony Brook, and has been a part of FUSE since its inception.
As the Site Coordinator of FUSE, she connects with host churches before each event, organizes set-up and break-down, and helps each venue achieve FUSE’s “coffeehouse” atmosphere.
She invites everyone to experience FUSE and unite with them at their next event!
